The club runs a Club Championship, Autocross Championship, Dirt Sprint Championship as well as class awards for Autocross and Dirt Sprints.
The overall Club Champion is derived fromall points accumulated at any CAMS event, in competition with other club members.
Points are awarded 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1 etc. (Provided there are three or more club members in the class) If only 2 or 1 then the points are 9, 8 or 9.
If you compete at an event where you are the only IWMAC member in a class you would receive 9 points. If you placed 15th in class at an IWMAC event you would receive 1 point.
The Club Captain collates the points and keeps the tally. The CC will score any event that they know about. If you compete somewhere, then e-mail the results, or a web site with the results and the score will be added.
Members traditionally score most of their points at our events, however competing at many events, and disciplines will keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Autocross, Dirt Sprints, Rally, Hillclimb, Gatton/Pittsworth/Maryborough Sprints, Short Circuit Events, Motorkhanas, Khanacross are all events that our members competed at last year.
For Autocross and Dirt Sprints the points are accumulated in the events at our track.
The Autocross and Dirt Sprint champs are the highest point scores from any/all classes.
